At Social Elegance, John believes that dancing should not only be fun and easy, but also affordable.

John Martin, owner and instructor, has developed a teaching style allowing students to "PAY AS YOU LEARN," instead of signing an expensive contract, or making any long term commitments.

John has been teaching professionally since 1983. He is certified Gold level in all the American style dances, social as well as competitive. John is also an experienced choreographer, with performances at the Pikes Peak Center, the Fine Arts Center, as well as exhibitions and competitions locally, and throughout the United States.

John has choreographed and danced in two music videos. The first was a Christmas video for Erica Lane, a well known Christian singer and songwriter. The video was partially shot at his studio and featured John, his partner, and his students. The second was in December of 2009, for the Air Force Band “Wild Blue Country”, which was shown in over 130 countries worldwide. John, his partner, and his students, were featured dancers.

The studio also had the honor of being voted on Fox 21’s 2009 A-List, as the top ballroom studio in the Springs.
